Please comment which of the 40 pins you would want the most :))

Hey backers!

Sorry for the delay. We had a little struggle figuring out the reward surveys. They are now complete and are being sent out now!

Free Shipping:
If you pledged on day one, you'll be getting free shipping or discounted shipping for international orders. When you check out on Backerkit, shipping will be automatically applied. We'll place a promotional credit on your order prior to charging your card. So you'll see a shipping charge but will not pay one. :)

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. Please get those surveys done as soon as possible so we know how many units to order. :D

Cheers!

Hi! I sent an email earlier today to [email protected] to move from one EB tier to another, as discussed in another thread towards the beginning of the campaign. I just wanted to make sure this was the correct email address to send the request to. Thanks!

Hi Frost Dragon Designs Please do NOT use Backerkit next time for a crowdfunding project! I pledged for your campaign, so I was forced to create an account on here. As a result, Backerkit has subscribed and SPAMMED me with EVERY SINGLE CAMPAIGN I’ve backed and answered with Backerkit even when I didn’t have an account! I’ve had to UNSUBSCRIBE to each individually! I tried complaining to Backerkit, but there’s no way to unsubscribe to them all. The default is to SPAM you for every campaign you used Backerkit as a survey for even though I NEVER subscribed to updates from Backerkit EVER! As soon as I get my pledge from this one campaign, I plan on deleting my Backerkit account if possible! Please don’t use them again! Sonia

I saw a couple of other backers had created threads talking about what drew them to or interested them about the project and I thought maybe we could use a general discussion to just make our introductions and chat about things (only if you want to, obviously). I recently backed another project that had a very engaged community - in fact, even with the project ended, people are still talking on a regular basis in the community - and I got to thinking it would be nice to chat with folks in this community too. Putting it all on the table - I'm not very good at socializing. The truth is I'm experiencing a bit of anxiety wondering if I should even be creating this thread even as I type this. Still, I do enjoy getting to know other people and I feel like it would be nice to get to know the folks in this community here. There's over 300 of us at this point and I'm sure we've all got interesting things to share. If you're inclined to chat, introduce yourself. Tell us a bit about who you are. You could share what brought you to this project. Assuming everyone here must have some interest in folklore, maybe we could talk about our own relationships with folklore and/or share some folklore from our own areas and/or cultural backgrounds too. I feel like this post is already getting a little lengthy and my introduction is probably going to be even lengthier, so I'm going to cut here and put my own introduction down in the comments. Hope to see you there.

As a storyteller who started learning on Japanese horror folktales for an interactive theater event, I nearly cried when I saw Okiku was unlocked. I know more than half of the stories featured in these pins, but some are new to me and I'm excited to deep dive into them. Definitely trying to save up some extra money so I can go all in!

Last year, as a high school senior, my son had to do an art project on something representing his family's culture. He chose to create a painting of a manananggal, with 3D hands protruding from the canvas, and wrote about its place in Filipino folklore. I can't wait for him to see this set--he's going to love it!
